Sleepy Hollow, NY home, Winner of the 2022 HOBI Award for Best Out of State Custom Home.  Sponsored by: HBRA of Connecticut, Inc.  This sleek, modern home is set on the Hudson River in Sleepy Hollow New York.  It is designed to capture its picturesque surroundings.  With beautifully large windows, you can stand in front of the home, look through, and see the Hudson River landscape located behind the home.   Undoubtedly a home that is appealing to the modern eye.  The back façade has many great features.  The large windows allow for a beautiful view of the Hudson River from the living room meanwhile simultaneously opening to the patio creating a seamless transition from inside to outside.  With an open staircase that goes from the second floor to the basement, this home feels open and specious. The spa in the back allows the homeowners to enjoy a peaceful relaxation with views of the Hudson River and the faint sound of the train in the background.  Although the train runs behind the home, along the Hudson River, the sounds are faint.   In a word, this home is stunning. This Modern Passive House is located in North Stamford, CT.  We built this home in a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by nature.  This modern home is has an open floor plan and floor to ceiling windows.  In addition, large, wall to ceiling sliding doors lead out to the patio on the first floor. Another beautiful feature of this home is the staircase.  As seen in our portfolio, the staircase was designed to feel like a floating staircase that transcends through the glass railing. This Passive House Farmhouse, located in Stamford, shows the versatility of the Passive House standard.  There are many Passive Houses built in the modern style, however, we built this farmhouse home to show this standard can be built in any style.  Located in North Stamford, Connecticut, this farmhouse home is nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by a lush, green, natural environment. This mindful design allowed CMG to build a large home that is highly efficient and comfortable.  As a result, with the efficiency and care put into building this home, the homeowners will enjoy it for years to come.  In a word, this home is magnificent. Ocean Drive Water Front, Stamford, CT

Ocean Drive Waterfront property in Stamford, CT. On this property, we built a cottage guest house, renovated the barn, and did some minor renovations to the main house. First is the Barn renovation.  This extensive renovation, Designed by Burr Salvatore Architects, brings the barn into the 21st century.  Bright colors in the bank room creates a fun environment.  Additionally, the glass window façade facing the Long Island Sound allows for a stunning view while relaxing in the living room. Second, the main house coordinates beautifully with the other buildings on the property.  We built the pool house and made some minor renovations on the main house.  This home portrays a beautiful nautical design inside that brings in the surrounding environment of the Long Island Sound. Third is the cottage guest house, which serves a dual purpose.  It provides a quest house on the upper level and provides a two car garage on the lower level.  The cottage is a cute, retro style cottage inside.  Very unique and great for guests to visit. The design for all three buildings on this Ocean Drive Waterfront in Stamford, CT coordinates seamlessly creating a cohesive design throughout for the homeowners. Featured in CT&G Follow

Shippan Point Barn, Winner of the 2018 HOBI Award for Best Not So Big Remodel.    Sponsored by: HBRA of Connecticut, Inc.  This one-of-a-kind residential remodel was one of the most rewarding projects our firm has done.   The waterside of this beautifully designed barn boasts large full-façade-sided windows allowing its residents to enjoy a full, beautiful view of the Long Island Sound.   With the design techniques provided by Burr Salvatore Design, we renovated this barn into a beautiful guest house. With a touch of modern flair, this barn was brought back to life.  Located on the Long Island Sound, this barn has an especially great feature perfect to enjoying the views.  The back side of this barn has a large full-façade-side of windows. The inside of this Shippan Point Barn is filled with bright, energetic colors.  The upstairs bathroom includes an intricate tile design allowing the plumbing fixtures to line up perfectly with the tiles.  Additionally this barn includes hardwood floors, a customize bunk rook, and and open loft.  Homeowners will enjoy this guest house barn for many years.  Full of life and energy, this barn is, in a word, vibrant. Shingle Style New Canaan home, Winner of the 2014 HOBI Award for Best in Town Custom Home and Best New Construction Technology.  Sponsored by: HBRA of Connecticut, Inc.  This shingle style New Canaan home was built with an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly system the promotes clean air, provides unmatched comfort for heating and cooling while cutting energy costs for the owner.  This radiant cooling and heating system is very smart and elegant and simplifies the home’s heating and cooling systems.  It Eliminates large volumes of uncomfortable air blown around the home, minimizing dust, allergens, and pathogens.  Undoubtedly, the best feature of the home is radiant cooling and heating with no conventional ductwork.  As a result, this home is cleaner and easier to maintain.  Not to mention the peaceful silence the homeowners experience without the sound of forced air.  This unique system won the Best New Construction Technology in 2014. Long Island Sound Waterfront – Winner of the 2013 HOBI Award for Best Custom Home 5,000 – 6,000 SF.  Sponsored by: HBRA of Connecticut, Inc.  We built this beautiful home, designed by Andrew Nuzzi Architects, located on the Long Island sound.  With beautiful views of the sound, this home certainly completes the picture of an idyllic New England Home.  With a sauna, an elevator, and a custom mahogany great room, this Stamford home has many great features to enjoy.  For this reasons, it attracts the eye of sophisticated home owners who have an appreciation for a more traditional style home. In fact, this home won the Best Custom Home 5,000-6,000 SF HOBI award in 2013 featuring its mahogany great room, custom kitchen design, and expansive back porch.  Above all, we would like to thank Andrew Nuzzi (architect).
